What are the steps in a treatment plan using physiotherapy?

First and most important is the diagnosis and plan of treatment prescribed by the doctor. Then we will need to know about the current condition of the patient. This may require a visit and examination by one of our physiotherapists. We also need to know about the home environment of the patient. This is in order to make an assessment of whether any obstacles exist which can prevent full and complete recovery. For example, a patient who needs to spend time walking may need ample space to do so. Recovery may not be full, if the opportunity to walk is limited.
